The Belden 9497 is a very popular 16AWG two conductor tinned copper wire speaker cable. It’s highly regarded by audiophiles for its “musical” sound and unrivalled value for money. Its distinctive orange and black twisted construction helps cancel out external electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
We offer either the high-end ViaBlue banana / spade connectors or for the more budget conscious, the mid-range CMC or Jantzen Audio plugs. All are admirable performers. The cables are screwed and soldered and just soldered into some plugs using Oyaide SS-47 silver solder to ensure a solid mechanical connection with no risk of oxidation which can degrade sound quality over time.
